A quilt for a toddler....

My nephew is turning 1 year in October and I wanted to make something special for him.  This quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted. I used 36 of 6x6 inches squares.

There was not much of a fabric selection to choose, from the stores I went to. I finally found this 'Fabric Palette' bundle.

It took awhile to cut a square at a time. Well, I only had to do 36 (so I really cannot complain.)

And, for the backing I used a piece of flannel which I got from a sale.

All is hand stitched...

It's ready to be shipped off to the little guy.
