Few things in July..

I did another embroidery piece, this is inspired by artist Henry Matisse's 'Woman with a Hat'.

July was extremely warm, which was also ideal weather for ciders/beers; couple of sketches I did while enjoying cider.

Left hand crochet : making a baby blanket for a friend.

Finally, after 10  months of sewing, I finished the scrap quilt. I am happy with my effort here.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend,

Thank you for stopping by,

till next time,

Gaia xx

  2. The scrap quilt looks great, Gaia. Well done!

I've been drinking lots of cold brewed tea these days. The days seem so long and endless and yet here we are in August!

  3. Your scrap quilt is beautiful, Gaia! You should be very proud of your work. It's warm here, but nothing like the heat out your way.
