Impressions.. part 2
project is completed.
So, here is my sewed collage impression, of my drawing. I worked at it almost every day for the last couple of weeks to finish it. I used running stitch to add fabric pieces together. I also feel that I could have added few more details with thread for extra texture.., maybe I was in a hurry to see the end result.
It measures about 12x12 inches, and I still have not thought about how I want to display it.
side by side..

Inspirations....
and impressions...
For sometime, I have been feeling uninspired when I do either stitching, crocheting or other crafts. At times I felt I force myself to keep engaged in the piece I am working . And, that wasn't a good feeling.
I needed to take a break from all, and past long weekend gave the opportunity so to do. As the weekend was coming to an end, I was felt inspired by the nature.
.. couple of pencil colour drawings, did while visiting the countryside.
The water lilies left me with a lasting impression, and that made into beginning of this project no sooner I got home. I am using the the drawing as the guide.
