and impressions...

For sometime, I have been feeling uninspired when I do either stitching, crocheting or other crafts. At times I felt I force myself to keep engaged in the piece I am working . And, that wasn't  a good feeling.

I needed to take a break from all, and past  long weekend gave the opportunity so to do. As the weekend was coming to an end, I was felt inspired by the nature.

.. couple of pencil colour drawings, did while visiting the countryside.

The water lilies left me with a lasting impression, and that made into beginning of this project no sooner I got home. I am using the the drawing as the guide.

Thank you for stopping by for a peek,

till next post,

  1. such skill with the paintbrush not sure if I knew you could paint, lovely inspiration for an applique and good you have got back to stitching after your lack of interest over the past few days

  2. Your drawings are beautiful.

I know what you mean about having periods when crafting becomes uninspiring. I find that happens to me during the summer. I guess that's because there are so many other fun things to do!
