Crochet ...
Yarn for my projects usually does come from the thrift store, so when I got these pretty coloured wool from a friend I was thrilled; I started making Petal Squares right away...
Thank you for stopping by ...
till next time,
Gaia
your elephant is very regal, wonderful
ReplyDeleteI love your elephant piece ... it's exquisite. You mention having wool to work on another piece ... we'll look forward to seeing it when you're done. Enjoy!

Your elephant turned out so nicely! And what a treat to receive some yarn from a friend. Those colours are lovely, as will be the creation you make from them, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteYour elephant has a lot of character - such a great project. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
ReplyDeleteYour elephant is absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour elephant is beautifully done and you certainly have a lot of good luck in finding wool at the thrift store. Your Petal Squares are looking great.
ReplyDeleteThe elephant turned out beautifully! Satin stitch is one stitch that I can never make neatly enough. Love all the details you added to this guy. Are you leaving it in the frame to hang on the wall? I've done a few like that and also found a nice tutorial for how to finish off the backing. If you're interested, I'll send you the link. Your new yarn colours look really nice together, and your crocheted squares are off to a good start! Well ... back to the Jays ;) ... I think we're eating supper in front of the TV tonight!
