Learning to weave ..

on a branch

For quite a sometime, I have been admiring on Pinterest all the lovely branch/stick weaving that has been posted and, I very much wanted to try one myself.  Although, I promised myself to look for a piece of branch once rain stopped, I kept forgetting to do so.
This morning while walking, I came upon pile of dried branches and picked up this  one thinking of the project. As soon as I got home, I started on  it. It took several attempts before I could (over and under) do a V shape and I still could not properly weave the V turn.

After I finished, I browsed for more information about 'how to' and found another article via pinterest with different instructions from the one I followed, so..

I will look for another suitable branch..

weekend walking......so many pretty gardens to see

Thank you for dropping by to see my creative attempts,

till next time,

  3. Very creative Gaia. I must look for a suitable branch when I walk my Dog. I have booked a Weave a Landscape Workshop and need to experiment before I go. It is good to know that a don't need to buy any expensive equipment to have a go. Marion x
